Guerlain Jicky (Eau de Toilette), 100 ml, unboxed Full bottle
Batch: 7X01 (2017)
Jicky is a legendary fragrance from 1889, an amber fougère composition created by Aimé Guerlain that holds a remarkable title: the longest continuously produced perfume in the world. Rosemary, lemon and bergamot in the opening flow into a rich herbal floral heart of lavender, tonka bean and jasmine, while a base of benzoin, vanilla, amber and sandalwood finishes with warm, enveloping depth and a delicate leather note. It suits someone who values true perfume history and a classic that has stood the test of time.
This is an original 100 ml bottle without its retail box, shipped in a transit box. The perfume itself is 100% original.
Fun fact: Jicky is one of the first perfumes created using synthetic ingredients and is considered the first abstract fragrance in history, meaning it is not built around one dominant note but around an overall, complex impression. In 2012 it was included in "The Art of Scent" exhibition at the Museum of Arts and Design in New York as an example of early romanticism in perfumery.

Feel and longevity
Jicky opens fresh, herbal and citrusy, with rosemary and bergamot, before lavender and jasmine build a classic, graceful heart. The base warms into vanilla, amber and leather, leaving a warm, enveloping and very distinctive trail. Projection is moderate and longevity is excellent, which makes it a great choice for cold weather and moments when you want to feel a true piece of perfume history.
Why choose this perfume?
Jicky is not just a fragrance, it is living perfume history, still produced and on the market more than 130 years after its creation. An original unboxed bottle is a great opportunity to own a cult classic.
