A milky lactonic accord on top, raspberry, lily of the valley and carnation at the heart, and a warm base of sandalwood, cedar, leather, patchouli, vanilla and sugar. A Parfum from 2016, created by Alessandro Gualtieri for Orto Parisi.

The story behind the scent

Seminalis comes from the Latin word for "seed" and "beginning". The scent is dedicated to the very beginning of life, to the primal energy and instinct from which everything starts. Gualtieri turns this idea into a soft, milky and warm scent that sits close to the skin and feels incredibly intimate.

Orto Parisi was founded in 2014 by Italian perfumer Alessandro Gualtieri, the man behind the cult brand Nasomatto. The brand's idea is to show nature and the human body as they are, without embellishment. That is why the names of its fragrances are bold and often shocking, and the concentration is extremely high. The bottles are heavy and simple, with a metal cap and a leather label.

Feel and longevity

Seminalis opens creamy and milky, with a light sweetness. Raspberry and flowers then soften it, and the dry down leaves warm sandalwood with vanilla, leather and patchouli. Longevity is exceptional and projection is strong, so 1 to 2 sprays are plenty. Best worn in autumn and winter, in the evening.
