Caspian Cherry is juicy black cherry dipped in amaretto and dark chocolate. A gourmand scent from the London niche house Electimuss, an Extrait de Parfum from 2024 created by Kevin Mathys. Cherry and almond liqueur on top, coconut, honey, cinnamon and coffee in the heart and a creamy base of white chocolate, tonka, sandalwood and patchouli.

The fragrance is sweet, warm and seductive without ever turning sticky. The cherry stays alive from start to finish thanks to the powdery tonka, while coffee and vetiver give it a depth that makes it work for men too. The story behind the scent

Electimuss is a London niche house inspired by the myths and opulence of ancient Rome. The Caspian cherry is a fruit Roman generals brought back from the shores of the Caspian Sea, and it quickly became a symbol of luxury at imperial tables. Caspian Cherry is a tribute to that fruit: not a fresh, tart cherry but a ripe, dark one soaked in liqueur.

Like every Electimuss fragrance, this is a high-concentration Extrait de Parfum, so its longevity and density are above average for a gourmand.

Feel and longevity

The opening is playful and sweet, with black cherry, amaretto and bitter dark chocolate. Then honey and cinnamon pour over the coconut, and coffee adds a strong, slightly bitter accent that balances the sweetness. The base is creamy and powdery with white chocolate, tonka and sandalwood, and it stays on the skin for more than 8 hours. Projection is strong in the first hours, so 2 to 3 sprays are plenty. Best worn in autumn and winter, mostly in the evening, and during the day when it is cold.
